With her part in the Netflix movie Lust Stories 2, Tamannaah Bhatia is gaining popularity. Even though some people adore how she was portrayed in the movie, others cruelly mocked her. The hypocrisy of the public and society perplexed the actress. She claimed that whereas male actors who do worse become "superstars," people criticised her for the personal scenes she had with Vijay Varma in Lust Stories 2.

Tamannaa recently discussed people's hypocrisy in an interview with Barkha Dutt. She remarked that it's odd how some individuals harass a female actor who engages in intimate sequences. The misogyny is very obvious to me. I had hoped that by 2023 it wouldn't be the case, but this time it felt very sharp. This is largely because when I first started acting when I was a little child, I was still dancing and dressing glam. Therefore, it is not as if I always had a non-glamourous image and all of a sudden it became something. Why, even in 2023, does a female actress need to meet this description just struck me as odd. It is a personal attack if she is doing intimate scenes, for example.
"I have read statements such as, 'Isko kya majboori hai ki ye aise scenes kar rahi hai (What was her helplessness to do personal sequences like these)'. That struck me as odd since if I play a serial killer tomorrow, does that automatically make me a bad person?
