Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has joined John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh in the cast of Nikkhil Advani’s action drama Vedaa. The film recently commenced its shoot in Rajasthan.

According to a press note, Tamannaah will portray ‘a crucial role’ in Vedaa, ‘outlining an important arc of the movie’.

Talking about the collaboration, Tamannaah shares in a statement, “I’ve always admired the way Nikkhil tells his stories. He has a knack and this ability of his is extremely endearing. John and I also get to work together for the first time ever. It definitely will be exciting to see what my character will bring in.”

Director Nikkhil Advani says, “Tamannaah has always given sensational performances. When I approached her to play this special role, I was delighted that she immediately trusted my vision for this film. My team and I are thrilled to have her with us.”

Tamannaah Bhatia's acting career thus far serves as textbook illustration of how erratic an actor's profession may be in the movie business.
The actor debuted in 2005's Chaand Sa Roshan Chehra at the age of 15, while she was still in school. Shortly thereafter, she landed roles in Telugu and Tamil films. "I received call to audition for the Telugu movie Sri, starring Manchu Manoj, while was still

 completing my board exams.

When first started working, had no idea how significant the Telugu and Tamil film industries were, but made real attempt to master both languages. In the long term, that really helped me," Tamannaah once said.

Happy Days, directed by Sekhar Kammula, was her first major Telugu success. The same year, she received accolades for her role as college student in the critically acclaimed Tamil film Kalloori.

However, things changed when she started to feature in Tamil and Telugu commercial films. As result of the box office success of films like Ayan, Kanden Kadhalai, Paiyya, Siruthai, 100% Love, and Badrinath, she quickly rose to the top of the two film industries' actor want lists.

Tamannaah starred in number of financially successful films between 2010 and 2015, however there have been countless occasions when questions have been asked about how long her career would last.

The roles she was given frequently emphasised her gorgeous persona, caricature that took years to dispel.

But for Tamannaah, who went on to become one of the best dancers in show business, the song and dance routine in commercial films also ended up being blessing in disguise.
